Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer transparent, all-inclusive pricing with no hidden fees. Every session includes high-resolution edited images, a private online gallery, and full print rights. I also offer seasonal mini sessions at a reduced rate, and wedding clients receive a complimentary engagement session when booking a full-day package. Custom quotes are always available based on your needs—just reach out!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I aim to make the process easy, personal, and stress-free from the start. Once you inquire, we’ll chat about your vision, location preferences, and the overall vibe you’re going for. I’ll share session options, styling tips, and available dates. Once you’re booked, I’ll guide you every step of the way—from what to wear to how to feel comfortable in front of the camera—so you can show up feeling confident and ready to enjoy the experience. My goal is to capture genuine connection and beautiful, natural moments you’ll treasure.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’ve spent years honing my craft through hands-on experience, professional workshops, and continued education in both photography and editing. My father is a professional photographer and I've trained under him as well. I’ve worked with families, couples, and brands in a wide range of settings—from intimate in-home sessions to large outdoor events. I’ve also invested in mentoring with top photographers in the industry and keep up with evolving trends and techniques to ensure my work remains timeless yet fresh. More than anything, I believe in creating a relaxed, natural experience that helps clients feel truly seen.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was always on the other side of the camera growing up as the photographer's daughter. I was usually posing on vacations, in the backyard, and whenever the lighting was just right. As I got older, I started asking questions about the cameras and wanted to know how to have an "eye" for photographs. In high school I took a photography class and developed film even though digital was the way to go in 2007. From here my passion ignited and I have been taking photographs ever since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients—from multicultural weddings and blended families to creative entrepreneurs and high-end brands. Whether I’m photographing an intimate elopement, a luxury wedding weekend, or a curated branding session, I bring the same personalized, detail-oriented approach. I believe everyone deserves to feel celebrated and seen in their photos, and I’m proud to create a welcoming, elevated experience for all my clients—regardless of background, identity, or story.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I loved the 80th surprise birthday party I most recently did. It was precious to see the true emotion that she had and I was able to capture it all! The family had many planned surprises throughout the brunch including a Skype session with "technical difficulties" but then that family was brought out to surprise her even more! I was at the event for a little over two hours and the photographs came out fantastic.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be honest with the photographer about your needs including what styles of photos you like post production.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Think about what story you want your photos to tell. Are you celebrating a specific milestone, updating your brand, or simply documenting life as it is right now? Consider the location you’re drawn to, the mood or style you love (natural, editorial, candid, romantic), and how you’d like to use your photos—whether it's for printing, social media, or keepsakes. It’s also helpful to know your ideal timeline, budget range, and whether you’re open to guidance on styling or locations. The more you can share about your vision, the more I can tailor your experience to reflect you authentically.
