I am Rolando Lopez, the owner and founder of Southwest Florida Films, a wedding videography & photography company located in Cape Coral. I have been in the videography & photography business for almost a decade and the wedding industry for over five years filming love in Tropical Costa Rica and now in the Sunshine State. I am an Engineer, but Photography has given me such beautiful experiences! Hopefully, let me be there with you, capturing the smiles, the kisses, the hugs, the tears, the flowers and every beautiful detail in order to make it last forever in a cinematic masterpiece. I also believe that the wedding day is supposed to be joyful! I am always willing to run the extra mile for the customer, any special request that can make you happy I commit to do it the best that I can.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I will include the price of what I think will include EVERYTHING so that you don't get any surprises after our agreement. I price fairly, I don't believe in overcharging the customer. If you have any special request, 99% of the time I am very flexible. Also I don't rush or look at my watch, I am very flexible with time and capture any additional detail.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to go over all the details, location and prices prior to the shoot. I'm MORE than thrilled when someone wants to schedule a call or a meet in person because it's really nice to connect and understand each other. I usually show up early and be prepared.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am self taught as well as one-on-one training with experienced photographers and videographers filming love in Tropical Costa Rica.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been in the videography business for almost a decade and the wedding industry for over five years filming love in Tropical Costa Rica and now in beautiful Florida.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked on bridal portraits, weddings, couples portraits, family, maternity, engagements shoots, makeup shots, boudoir, outdoors, natural light, real estate agents, family portraits, business/cooperate headshots, exotic cars, product photography, building personal brands and websites.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My favorite projects are the ones that I can make it playful and fun, where I can feel comfortable with the customers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

check out the previous photos as a good indicator of their quality, style, consistency, or even flexibility in work
