What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I get to know my client first, get the details, and then book! It’s pretty straight forward for smaller shoots. With bigger photo shoots I have my clients fill out a contract to solidify the booking.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve watched HOURS of YouTube videos! I also follow photography forums on FB and follow many Instagram photographers to get some awesome ideas!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve always loved photography. I think capturing raw moments are the best part about this type of work! I’m an introvert but working with clients who are essentially my canvas makes for a fun shoot. No 2 photo shoots are the same and I love that aspect as well!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I’ve worked with couples, families, models, and athletes.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice would be to make sure you know your dates and time frame so that the photographer can book you right away!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I think they should at least know what they want. It’s better to hear their ideas first then come up with a plan to give them exactly what they’re looking for.
