What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing also includes tangible products and is not just a session fee I believe products are important. Your memories deserve to be beautifully and professionally displayed in your home.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started my career in the Army as a photojournalist. I continue to take education classes to always improve my techniques and keep up with changing technologies.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I joined the Army as a photojournalist. I have been a photographer ever since, even when I did not do it professionally.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I consult before most shoots.. Glamour shoots include hair and makeup. Family shoots(and any others) can include help with ordering prints to decorate their wall space. I always am willing to help with sizes, etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently did a senior session that was amazing! He plays baseball and we had the best time taking his pictures I also recently did a very small wedding complete with engagement pictures that was just the most fun!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please do your research. There are a lot of people with cameras who advertise they are photographers but do not necessarily have the background. Having expensive pots and pans does not make you a chef any more than having a camera makes you a photographer.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Search for a photographer that offers prints and albums, not just CD's. Images are meant to be treasured on walls, wallets, and books to be handed down as part of your history. Quality photographers usually cost more, but there is a reason for that. :)
