Introduction

I offer extremely personalized and custom-tailored photo sessions; my desire is that the my work you see here speaks for itself. I am incredibly passionate about the art of photography; I consider myself to be more of a general photographer and thus versatile in that I can do almost anything both outdoors and on-location. Should you decide to want to do the project indoors, please know that I have the necessary equipment to do a beautiful and creative shoot-you simply provide me power and I will do the rest!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is dependent upon the type of job (family portrait, wedding, etc.) and the amount of time involved in the project; however my final pricing always includes editing and making the photographs available to my clients via onedrive or google photos.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Aside from actual shooting, this is the process I enjoy the most; I absolutely love meeting and engaging with my clients and discovering what they want in their photographs. My process is simple: it's simply what is the most comfortable for my client; whether it be a quick initial phone conversation or a more intimate face to face meeting where my client can view sample images on my tablet. From there, pricing is negotiated and agreed upon so that we can both proceed forward.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
My degree is in Mass Communications with an emphasis on TV/Production Studio Work; in addition I have taken several photography classes with emphasis on both composition and editing.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have to credit my father as a major influence; he was a freelance cinematographer in that he shot motion film and video; however, he too had a very strong passion for still photography.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with couples, families, and individuals of multiple ages and backgrounds; again, this is one of the aspects I love most about this job!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I would have to say shooting a summer wedding was definitely a project that I'll remember; I especially loved taking the photographs I shot and "converting" some of them into black and white-because of this, this particular project took a little longer to get right (maybe about a month or so).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would have to say making sure that when a customer is looking for a provider, such as a photographer, that they have clear and unrestricted access to the photographer's work; that way, they can get a sense of the photographer's style, not just a sampling of the type of photos that the photographer has taken.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I strongly believe, when dealing with photography, that the customer should primarily think about 3 main factors: the setting/location, style (modern vs traditional, or even a mix), and the time of day (for lighting purposes).
