Anyone can take a picture, but I believe it takes a certain someone to tell a story. That's what I do. Whether it's a wedding, a family or a headshot, you've got a story to tell. And I can help you tell it. I enjoy meeting individuals interested in trying something a little bit different in order to have photographs that reflect exactly who they are.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing varies by project and I'm always willing to discuss your needs in order to help create images and a budget that works for you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step in working with new customers is to connect via email to talk through project expectations and determine an estimate. Some projects require meeting for a coffee or a socially distant FaceTime, Zoom or Google hangout to meet each other and talk through specifics. From there, we shoot!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

With a background in creative strategy, I provide creative solutions tailored to each client.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

From weddings and senior portraits to shooting for ballet companies and corporate headshots, I have a variety of experience with portraiture.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have partnered on photographic collaborations with Ballet Des Moines, Des Moines Public Schools, dsm Magazine, Dwolla, One Iowa, Tech Journey, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Vice Media for Levi’s and others.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Projects can take between 30 minutes up to three hours or more, depending on the type of shoot. In almost every case, all hi-res, edited files are delivered within one week of the shoot.
