I want my business to stand out due to quality and affordability for all. I have always had a passion for taking photos. Sports, kids, pets, graduating seniors, nature, weddings, or other special events. To capture the smiles, candid moments, the look of determination or the excitement of hitting or catching the ball, that is what I strive for! Along with taking the photos, I love to create digital books.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing will most likely be lower than many other photographers in the area. I try to make my prices affordable for everyone. I work from my home so I do not have the expense of an office. My goal is to be provide quality photos for the person who can only afford 2 prints of their kid hitting a baseball or maybe the person who is fortunate to buy 200 prints.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Usually I like to talk with potential customers about what their needs are, answer their questions, and explain my photography style.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken a few basic Photography classes. Reading about other photographers ideas and looking at picture ideas and shooting as much as possible has been my best training.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always loved taking pictures. Family and friends encouraged me to start a small photo shop and so my business was started in 2002.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have been fortunate to work with many types of customers. I have done weddings, senior pictures, newborns, families, pets, special events and all different sporting events.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Besides photography I create digital scrapbooks and invitations for senior open houses, baby showers, birthdays, and weddings. Books may take a day or two to create, however they are well worth it. They are a great way to preserve memories!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at samples of their work. Are the professionals easy to work with. Don't judge the quality of the work by the prices.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Ask as many questions as needed so you feel comfortable with who you are hiring.
