Introduction

My diverse background allows me to adapt to any project. I studied photojournalism at Southern Illinois University and am based in Chicago. I have collaborated with a variety of publications, design firms, corporations, and advertising clients. In 2003, I was honored with the Peter Lisagor Award for Photojournalism Excellence. My clients have included BusinessWeek, Forbes, Follett of Higher Learning, Blue Cross Blue Shield, BlackWell (Consulting, First Health, Harley Davidson, and Apple. I began photography at the age of 10 when my parents sent me to Poland to visit family. My aunt gave me a camera, and I have been hooked ever since. (I am a License 107 Drone pilot.)

Pricing is all depended on each project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My workflow is having a email or conversation of the subject project and gather as much info for their project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied at Southern Illinois University for photojournalism. I'm based in Chicago and have worked with variety of publications, design firms, corporations and advertising clients. I worked full time with Crain Chicago Business as their main photographer from1996 to 2003. In 2003, I was awarded the Peter Lisagor Award for Photojournalism Excellence. My clients have ranged from BusinessWeek, Forbes, Follett of Higher Learning, Blue Cross Blue Shield,BlackWell Consulting, First Health, Harley Davidson and Apple.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Starting taking photographs since I was 10 years old..

What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of my work is magazine based, then direct with companies.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Most recent work was on a company that builds coffee roasters. It was a weeks work since we needed to build a set and do still plus video for the client. The final results were for a trade show and ads.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Give as much information to your photographer or anyone you will be hiring so they can give you a accurate estimate.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is the final look and result that they are looking for with the budget that they have in mind..
