Hi, My name is Sean and I am the owner and photographer here at McGrail Photography. Over the years I have had the opportunity to capture the most cherished moments in people's lives against some of the most breathtaking backdrops nature has to offer. From the sun-drenched vineyards of Napa to the serene shores of the Outer Banks, I've been privileged to witness and preserve the love and unique stories of countless couples and families in a way that only photography can. Currently, I am practicing my passion in the picturesque landscapes of New England, the place where I grew up. The rolling hills, historic charm, and the ever changing seasons of New England provide inspiration for my work. However, I am always willing to practice my craft elsewhere as I love traveling and exploring new places. I would love to talk you about how I can capture your memories, I can't wait to talk!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

All of my services include all of the edited pictures with printing rights available for download on my website. For jobs that are less than 4 hours, you will have your pictures delivered in 2 weeks or less, jobs for more than 4 hours it is a one-month turnaround.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Before working with new clients I always like to talk to them on the phone for a few minutes. My style focuses on putting people in the best lighting and capturing the special moments that happen naturally, as well as capturing a lot of candid photos.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have attended some highly regarded workshops on posing in a way that helps people feel beautiful and natural in front of a camera. I have also gone to workshops on lighting to learn how to work in all types of lighting situations from beaches at sunset, sunny days at noon and dimly light ballrooms.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been in love with photography since I first started in 6th grade and now I have the blessing to be able to do it for a career.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all kinds of people and couples from same-sex marriages to traditional Hindu ceremonies. I love working with new clients to help capture what makes them different.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research! Talk to a few different photographers that you are intrested in, look at there work but also talk to them. You have to feel comfortable with the person taking your pictures so just make sure you are the right fit.
