Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer transparent pricing with no hidden fees. My packages are customizable to fit various needs and budgets, and I’m happy to discuss pricing options and find a solution that works best for your project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The foundation of everything is collaboration! I’m here to bring the customer’s vision to life. I start by having a conversation with the client to understand their vision and expectations. We discuss the type of shoot, location, and any specific requirements they may have. Once everything is agreed upon, we schedule the shoot and I ensure they are comfortable and relaxed during the session. Afterward, I edit the photos and provide the client with a selection of high-quality images to choose from.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a background in education, which has helped me understand people and communicate effectively. To me, the biggest training has been experience shooting in a variety of dynamic and diverse settings!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started as a film photographer in high school when my mom gave me an old Pentax K1000 given to her by her grandmother! During the pandemic I decided to join the 21st century and bought a Canon DSLR and began photographing the beautiful landscapes around Boston and New England. I love hiking New Hampshires White Mountains and never leave my camera behind! Over time, my passion for capturing the essence of natural beauty grew, leading me to explore portrait photography. I found joy in capturing people’s stories through my lens, which eventually turned my passion into a career.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked on photography for various companies and individuals. I’ve done a lot of work in the hospitality industry capturing brand launches and events. I’ve also captured headshots and family portraits for individuals. I’m open to any type of customer!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for a photographer whose style resonates with you and who has a portfolio that matches the type of photos you want. Don’t hesitate to ask questions about their process and ensure they are willing to tailor their services to your specific needs. Building a good rapport with your photographer is crucial to achieving the best results.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should consider the style of photography they want, the purpose of the shoot, and any specific themes or concepts they have in mind. It’s also helpful to think about budget, location preferences, and the timeframe for receiving the final images. Having a clear idea of what you want will help facilitate a smooth and productive conversation with your photographer.
