What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have many different packages for different types of weddings, elopements, family portraits, etc. that can be found on my website.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always start by asking many questions about what a customer is looking for in terms of style, if they have a specific date or if they have flexibility, what their budget is, and how quickly they need the finished edited photos. I try to learn as much as I can with the initial consultation so I can make sure my customers are 100% happy with the end result.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a self taught photographer with over 15 years of experience, and I have taken many photography related classes while working on my bachelors degree.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have had a passion for photography from a young age. I love being able to capture portraits that my clients are not only proud to share, but also feel confident in. I genuinely love meeting new people and helping them step outside of their comfort zones to create beautiful and unique portraits.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with many types of customers! Over the years I have worked with many families as well as models looking to build their portfolio, and more recently I have been specializing in engagement sessions, elopements, and weddings as well as real estate projects.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently photographed an absolutely beautiful wedding. The wedding itself was 8 hours long, and the turnaround time for the finished photos was about 40 days with sneak peeks in less than 48 hours.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always take a look at their portfolio before you hire them. Every photographer has different techniques and styles, and it’s important to find a photographer that matches the style you’re looking to achieve.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Where you want your photos taken, how many photos you’d like taken, what style of photography you’re interested in, and what your budget is.
