Introduction

My business stands out because of me! I love spending time capturing life through the lens of my camera. I travel all over New England visiting new places and meeting new people. I consider it an honor and a privilege to capture my customers special moments. What's not to love? I get to spend my time with families and children, go to great parties and events, do a little dancing with my camera and eat cake!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I keep my pricing reasonable and give my clients all of the retouched and edited images on flash drives. I tend to overshoot so they get lots and lots of images!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to talk with new customers and find out what their vision is. If the customer is closer enough to meet, I set up a coffee date to go over the details in person. Weddings are so much fun!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
BFA in Painting Degree in Art History Maine Professional Photographers Association member

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Got my first camera at age 9, a Kodak Instamatic!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I photographed a family reunion just after Thanksgiving Day. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun with the grandparents, parents and seven grandchildren! I photographed each of the three families in various locations, did a big group portrait and lots of candids. The session took about an hour and a half and ended with the grandparents supplying coffee and donuts - Bonus!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Check out the quality and quantity of work. I love photographing people, capturing the joy, family moments and fun times.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I think most people have an idea of what they are looking for and if not, I have plenty of suggestions! I am a story teller with my camera. I mail out a Bridal Workbook to each bride, whether they hire or not, to help with all of the details.
