Introduction

Weddings, Engagements, Families, Couples, Seniors, Headshots, Events, Concerts & Branding sessions available! DID YOU KNOW? 👀 Every contractor pays thumbtack $15-50 just for you to message us the first time 🤯 So if you’re only looking for availability on very specific date(s) (weddings and events normally), please ensure “Open to other dates” is NOT checked when inquiring, otherwise I might show up as available on a day that I’m not :) thanks for being here and can’t wait to get to know you/your vision! Thanks for checking out my page ✨ I have been photographing families since 2013 and decided to go freelance in 2020. Since then, I have worked with hundreds of families, bands, and brands worldwide and was ranked among the top 10 Best Photographers in Detroit by Peerspace. I work hand-in-hand with clients to create memorable imagery and connections while ensuring you feel comfortable every step of the way. My extensive background in modeling, photography & editing will ensure that your session is everything you want it to be & more. Check out more of my work on my website!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I price on a per client basis to ensure that I understand the scope of what you need and how I can best be of service to you! All shoots require a non-refundable retainer upon booking to officially secure your date.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I will ask for any information needed if left out of the original message (date, time, # of photos, hours of coverage, how many products/dishes, etc.) If it is a commercial or brand shoot, I prefer to hop on the phone so we can chat and discuss all of the intricacies of your brand! I will then (if contracted for creative direction) will create and share a mood board with you for approval. All invoices are sent via square unless a Paypal/Venmo payment is arranged.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a Bachelor of Science in Design Technology which makes me proficient in editing software among set and wardrobe styling!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started shooting senior portraits for friends in high school and then started working in theatre, where I was taking production photos. My love for photography then consumed my life during the pandemic and I really started refining my craft.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with all types of customers from your favorite aunt to brands & bands such as Adobe, Red Bull, Canva, IPrevail, Dirty Honey, Stephen Sanchez & more. I am humble in my work and carry the same level of professionalism to all caliber of client. Every client comes to me with an idea and the end goal is to make that idea a reality

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I’ve had the pleasure of working on some really amazing projects! Most recently, I worked on a job for Red Bull photographing a massive event they held in Detroit. It was very intensive, I was on set about 6 hours longer than we originally thought but it was one of the coolest experiences Ive been a part of!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Shop around! Im the first to say its important to weigh your options, ESPECIALLY for a photographer! Things to consider: budget, editing style, shooting style, photographers personality (check out their socials), etc. I like to think I’m a great fit for everyone, but I know that’s not the case ;)

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
For Companies/Brands: -What do you want the photos to portray to customers? -What do you want the brand image to be like? -How many products do you have and how many photos do you want of each? -What is the budget for hiring models? -If you want studio product shots, do you have the budget to cover studio costs? For Family/Wedding/Portrait Clients: -How many hours do you want to shoot? -When are your kids the most awake and energetic? (No one wants photos of their kids when they're cranky!) -How many photos do you want in return? -Do you want color photos and black and white? -Does the photographer I'm hiring seem like someone I will get along with? (Most importantly!)
