Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing will vary depending on the project and location of the shoot. Weddings vary depending on the package and needs for the day! Let’s chat about what you’re looking for!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My typical process with a new customer always starts with picking their brain on exactly what types of photos they’re looking for! Whether that just them describing the style they want or sending me some example from Pinterest I always want to make sure I have the same vision as my customer. Then we pick a date, time, and location that works best for the both of us that will also achieve the look of the phots that they want! Finally we have lots of fun taking the pictures! After that I go home and fully edit the best images and I have the images back to the customer with 1-2 weeks!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have done endless amounts of trial and error! Practice, practice, and more practice! I have done lots of self education and watch YouTube to figure out the functions of shooting in manual! (Nothing better than free education) I have also had a mentor who has been a photographer for about 10 years show me the ropes as well! When it comes to editing I have taken various Lightroom classes and learned a lot from YouTube as well!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I bought a camera off of Facebook Marketplace about 1.5 years ago and absolutely fell in love! It was so fun to learn manual mode on the camera and how to edit in Lightroom. All my friends and family were always impressed with my work and told me I had a natural talent! A few months ago I did upgrade my gear to a brand new professional grand Canon r6 and it is the best decision I could have made! I love it all!!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have mostly worked with individuals and couples! The ages have varied!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I am most fond of the wedding that I just shot! You can find those images in my gallery. It was fun to get to work with every one and I am so happy with how the images turned out! The images took me two weeks to go through and edit all of them. My clients were very impressed and loved the photos! They have left a review of me on here if you would like to check it out!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The best piece of advice that I can give to a customer is find some one that makes your feel most comfortable and someone who has work that you love! That just means you’ll have more fun taking the pictures and be even more excited to get your photos back!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Here is a simple list of questions that you can ask a professional that you’re looking to hire: - How many outfit changes are allowed in the shoot? - Can you help me choose and outfit that best goes with the style I’m going for - What kind of gear do you use? - How long does it take to get the images back?
