Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My prices are consistently lower than other photographers out there, but you will get unique, artistic, high quality work.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We can message a few times to discuss details of what you want, what you hope to find, the style and needs you'd like fulfilled. I'll bring what's important to you into my vision and merge and encompass them. From that point on you have my number and can reach me anytime or know that I will get back to you as soon as I am able.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Years of experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My first camera I had as a teenager. I had two rolls of black and white film with me when Hurricane Katrina hit my hometown. I was able to go out into the aftermath and document photographically and artistically the world around me. Part of me wanted to be a photographer ever since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
LGBTQA+, couples, families, children, animals, individuals, professionals, artists.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I did an Empty Seat Series where I took an antique chair to remote locations from mountain tops to rivers to abandoned buildings and took photographs of it in these different locations. It's been and ongoing project for many months.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at work samples and compare prices. See if the photos evoke an emotion in you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What can you afford? What are you hoping to have as a final product? What is your timeline to completion? What is the mood or emotion(s) you want to capture?
