What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
At Collado Visual Collective, we believe every story is unique, and we’re here to capture yours in a way that feels authentic and timeless. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, capturing love, or telling your brand’s story, we offer custom-tailored photography experiences to fit your vision and budget. All sessions include professionally edited images delivered via an online gallery. Before booking, we’ll schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss your needs, answer questions, and ensure we’re the perfect fit for your session.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our typical process starts with a quick online consultation—just a casual call to connect, learn about your vision, and walk through what to expect. From there, we tailor a package that fits your needs, lock in your date with a retainer, and keep in touch leading up to your shoot. We value clear communication, comfort, and creativity from start to finish.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have over 10 years of experience in both photography and videography—serving in volunteer, creative, and professional roles. Our background includes leading media teams, capturing live events, and producing everything from portraits to short films. This hands-on experience has shaped our style and strengthened our ability to tell authentic, compelling stories through visuals.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We got started by serving in our local church media team—capturing events, producing short videos, and documenting meaningful moments. What began as a way to give back and support our community turned into a true passion for storytelling. Over time, we started working with families, couples, and small businesses, and Collado Visual Collective was born out of our love for creating honest, heartfelt visuals that reflect connection and culture.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We’ve worked with a wide range of clients—from couples and families to small business owners, creatives, and community organizations. Our projects have included weddings, studio portraits, branding sessions, social media content, and event coverage. Whether it’s a love story, a product launch, or a cultural celebration, we love working with people who value authenticity, connection, and creativity.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One recent project that’s especially close to my heart was a photo gallery focused on cultural connection and identity. I wanted to blend modern portraiture with traditional elements in a way that honored heritage while still feeling fresh and editorial. From concept to completion, it took about two months, including creative direction, coordinating with models and local businesses, styling, shooting, and curating the final gallery. It was a beautiful reminder of how powerful visuals can be in telling stories that matter.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone whose work speaks to you, but also someone you feel comfortable with. A strong connection with your photo or video team makes a big difference in how natural and authentic your final visuals will feel. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, share your vision, and make sure they’re listening. The right provider will care just as much about your story as they do about the final product.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It helps to think about the why behind your project—what story are you trying to tell or what feeling do you want to capture? Also consider your ideal timeline, budget, location or setting, and how you plan to use the final images or video (social media, website, prints, etc.). Knowing your priorities upfront helps us create something meaningful and tailored just for you. But don’t worry—we’re here to guide you through it even if you’re not sure yet!
