Introduction

Because my heart is in every image I create. I am committed to making the best images I can that look great in the years to come. I have such a love for photography that I can't believe this is my job! I look forward to every wedding I photograph. Each one is unique and has a feel to it...and this is what I capture. I love going home immediately after any shoot and viewing the images. No matter how late it is when I get home I still have that feeling I did growing up exposing film and waiting for the slides to return. I love being a part of the family's wedding that I witness. I am there and I get a front row seat to all the action and feeling of the day. It's real authentic emotion. And it's so much fun!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
For weddings I have a starting point, but each wedding and client is different and may want different things. There is flexibility so that each client is given a custom package.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We begin a relationship either through email or on the phone. If the client lives close by, I will invite them for a coffee to discuss their project. If an out of town client, then we Skype or Face time meet. Afterwards we communicate on the phone or email. I will contact the client before the start date to confirm times and other details. Then that's it!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for photojournalism. I worked for State Legislature, and elected political figures in State government. And usually on the weekends I am working for real, photographing weddings!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I always loved photography. I would even pay to do it!! And when starting out I did!! It isn't work it has always been a true love. From slowly looking through Life magazines growing up, I could feel something special in the images I saw. I loved how they made me feel, and decided to create my own images to share.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Weddings: Brides/Grooms/Huge families and groups of friends. Newspaper: Art directors, editors, web directors Families: newborns, new parents, siblings Commercial Photographers from large studios

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
See if they absolutely love what they do, Are they excited about it? Are they fun? If not it will show in the images.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Are the professionals they are speaking with passionate? Can you feel their excitement? Will they treat you in a personal and professional manner and deliver a five star service? How long will it take to have my photos returned?
