Introduction

My goal is to create a professional end product that will 1) meet *and hopefully* exceed your expectations, 2) capture the special moments in your life in high resolution and 3) bring a smile to your face [maybe even a tear or three] I began photographing and filming events in 2013 as a side business but put it on hiatus to focus on my young family and career in 2017. Recently, with the kids being a little older and a supportive wife, I am able to dedicate more time and energy to this passion. *My main setup is a Sony a7IV paired with a Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 (as of September 2023)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We can negotiate a price that all parties are satisfied with. Discounts are available.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

after the initial introduction, I want to get a feel for your personality and incorporate that in the videos.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

At first, I was consuming a lot of educational media about photography and eventually had a lot of hands-on training shooting a variety of events throughout the years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have family members who were into phtography. I picked it up as a hobby as well and was able to help as a second/third/fourth shooter at different events.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with people of different cultures in a variety of events (anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, solo/couples/family photoshoots)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I completed a videography/photography project for a Babyshower in the Bronx. The family was wonderful to wrok with and the location (The Redwood club) was right next to the east river. II was able to get amazing drone footage of the scenery that I included in the final video.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You want the best value out of the professionals you're looking to hire. Someone might give you a great price, but you might be disappointed in the quality of work. The same can be said with an expensive rate. With that being said, there are some talented newcomers that need a chance to shine. In the end, you're here to find a pro that will capture a special moment in your life. You have to find your own Goldilocks zone.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

If you know what you want, can the pro work with your needs or vice versa? If you're not sure, can they provide guidance or directions? How soon can the pro deliver a final product? What's the backup plan in case they can't make it?
