Introduction

I specialize in outdoor portraits and fashion photoshoots. I am easy to work with and am very organized. It is important to keep the mood light and we all have a fun time with the photo sessions. Happy people make great photographs happen. We will discuss the photos you want to capture before we shoot so I can deliver photos you will treasure. On the shoot, I provide direction and also realize some do not like to have their photo taken. However, I strive to provide the best photo they have ever had. I have all 5 star reviews. Please contact me to book a photo session.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
A phone conversation is best so I am clear on what you'd like to get from the session and plan the logistical details. I will provide a price based on the amount of time spent on the shoot and then finalizing the amount of photos agreed upon. I never have any hidden fees and the final files are yours with no strings attached. The price I quote is the price you pay. Beware of unethical photographers with surprise fees for files, prints, and releases.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
A phone call is needed for you to relay details of what you wish to get from the shoot. How many different set ups, or how much time. Also, how many final photos are sufficient. I will also have many questions and provide location suggestions and also tips. I find customers would rather have this 10 minute conversation than fill out a boring form.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Families, couples, maternity, models, and single portraits of all ages.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently did a maternity shoot along with her husband and 6 year old daughter. We shot at an outdoor location with many interesting backgrounds all in a small area. The shoot was 90 minutes and I was able to provide the family with a wide variety of images. Different combinations of the family, such as only the mom, only the couple, and the family of 3 with #4 on the way. We also had several backgrounds to add to this variety. Shooting later in the afternoon also gave us a warm orange sunset sky to work with. We all worked hard and hustled but had fun and kept it light. The family is beyond happy with the images.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Have a conversation with me well in advance of the shoot. A bit of planning will make the most of the limited time of a photo session. You will be happy you did when you see the results.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Know what your "must have" images are. Create a shoot list in order of priority. How many final photos work for you? One perfect group photo or 25 processed photo files with a wide variety of images to create a photo book? There are lots of variables to be discussed and work on collaboratively to have a successful outcome.
