Do not strain your eyes looking at a picture on the back of a camera, I often shoot tethered to a computer so you see the whole picture. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you hire a photographer that has plenty of examples of the work that you're hiring for. You wouldn't hire a Brain Surgeon for a Heart Transplant, don't hire a Wedding Photographer to shoot your Industrial Commercial Work. Make sure they have a Professional website outside of Thumbtack and Instagram. Do they have business insurance? Can they shoot tethered to a computer so you can see minute details or are you resigned to the tiny camera screen? Can they light subjects in difficult situations or are they limited to natural light only? Photography is NOT AN HOURLY JOB, True Professionals bid on the scope of the job not on how long they are actively shooting.
