Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My prices may not be the lowest but my service is some of the best. Each session has professional editing worked into the price, as well as access to an online gallery for life.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I always talk with any client over the phone to see what the goal of their session is. If I know what you are looking for I can gauge what equipment to bring and what to look for. After we speak and the session is complete I will edit the images and post them in an online gallery.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I studied fine art at UT Arlington. I then moved on to work at a local camera shop for 3 years. Then I taught commercial photography for 7 years. While working in those industries I also photographed weddings and portraiture.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My father gave me his camera in high school and it was all over.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with couples if all ages, business owners, and actors. I’ve also photographed an array of cultural weddings outside of the traditional Christian services.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Photography itself has been a life long project. Making art, documenting a memory, and freezing a smile has always been who I am.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Looking at their work first and foremost is the most important thing you can do. If you like them and they like you-do business with them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Hire a professional with skin in the game. Ask about their experience, editing, turn around time, and how they light their subjects.
