Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is designed to be both transparent and flexible. We offer competitive, affordable rates based on the type of service, project scope, and specific client needs—whether it's photography, videography, or aerial drone coverage. We also provide custom packages and bundle pricing for clients booking multiple services, as well as occasional promotions or discounts for returning clients, brands, and large-scale events. Our goal is to deliver high-quality visuals without compromising your budget.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our process begins with understanding your vision. We start with a consultation, either in person or virtually, where we discuss the look, style, and goals of your project. Many clients come to us with a clear concept, while others may need help shaping their ideas. Either way, we’re here to guide you. If a client doesn’t have a defined vision, we ask the right questions and draw inspiration from the details they share—such as mood, purpose, location, or wardrobe—to help craft a cohesive creative direction. Once the concept is set, we finalize scheduling, prepare the shot list or storyboard (if needed), and ensure everything is in place for a smooth, collaborative shoot. Our goal is to make the process stress-free while delivering visuals that truly reflect your style and message.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Lavish Photography is built on over a decade of hands-on experience in the photography, videography, and creative production industry. Our team has worked alongside and under the mentorship of many established and respected photographers and videographers, gaining real-world insight into both the artistic and technical sides of the craft. This deep industry experience, combined with years of creative collaboration on editorial, commercial, and personal projects, has shaped our approach to visual storytelling. We’ve learned from the best, stayed current with evolving trends and technology, and continue to grow through every project we take on.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Lavish Photography was born from a genuine love for art and creative expression. Photography and videography have always felt like natural extensions of that passion — powerful tools for telling stories, capturing emotion, and creating visuals that leave a lasting impression. What began as a personal interest quickly evolved into a professional journey. Through years of practice, mentorship, and working alongside talented creatives, that love for the art form became a full-time pursuit — and ultimately, the foundation of Lavish Photography.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Lavish Photography has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients from all walks of life. Our experience includes working with individuals, families, brands, artists, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients — spanning various age groups, backgrounds, and industries. Whether it's capturing personal milestones, building content for a business, or creating visuals for creative portfolios, we tailor each experience to meet the unique needs and goals of every client.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
There are several projects that come to mind, but one I’m especially fond of is a collaboration with Averil Miles. What started as a simple outfit shoot evolved into something much more meaningful — a full article-style biography that highlighted her story, style, and journey. The project unfolded over several sessions, from concept development and photography to interviews and final edits. It took about two to three weeks from start to finish, and it remains a great example of how visual storytelling can grow into something powerful when there’s trust and creativity on both sides.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Preparation is the most important part of any successful session. Before hiring a provider, make sure you clearly communicate your vision and expectations. The two major factors to consider when choosing a service provider are availability and communication. A reliable provider should be easy to reach, responsive, and open to discussing your needs in detail. Their availability should align with your schedule, and they should be willing to collaborate closely to ensure the final results meet or exceed your expectations. Taking the time to find someone who excels in these areas will make your experience smoother and more enjoyable.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before reaching out to a professional, it’s helpful for customers to consider a few key questions to ensure a productive conversation and successful project outcome. Some important questions include: What is the main goal or purpose of your project? What style or mood are you hoping to achieve? Do you have any specific ideas, themes, or inspirations in mind? What is your budget and timeline? Where will the shoot or project take place? Are there any particular deliverables or formats you need (e.g., photos, videos, drone footage)? How involved do you want to be in the creative process? Having clarity on these points will help both you and the professional align expectations and create a plan that best fits your vision and needs.
