Introduction

Hi there! I’m Carina, a lifestyle photographer based in San Antonio. I’m a big fan of dim sum and boba, love watching Disney movies on repeat, and enjoy exploring new places with my husband, Robert and son Dominic. My approach to lifestyle photography is all about making you feel relaxed and comfortable, so we can capture those authentic, joyful moments that truly represent who you are. Whether it’s a special event or an everyday moment, I aim to create beautiful, timeless images you’ll treasure for years to come.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing may vary. I'm happy to work with clients and offer customized packages to fit their needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I love hopping on a call with potential clients so they can share what their vision is for their special day! It also allows me the opportunity to get to know them and the things that are most important so that I can deliver images they will love for years to come! After booking I help my couples create timelines for their special day to ensure that every treasured moment is captured! I also provide a styling guide to help couples figure out outfits, and what other items need to be prepared so they can look/feel great going into their session.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am self taught, but constantly seek to grow my knowledge and skills through networking in the community and various online courses.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
With a career background mostly in finance, I felt that I was missing a creative outlet so I decided to learn more about photography. After trying a few different types of photography, I started doing couples and weddings and absolutely loved it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Couples, Maternity, Graduates, & Families

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Research and make sure you find a photographer you actually connect with! The connection is very important because as a client it will allow you to feel more comfortable, thus allowing the photos to show real emotion.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Asking what their price includes, are there any additional fees, and if they will be providing a contract.
