Hello, I am new to the platform, but not the job. With over 20 years in practice, I have covered lots of ground. I have worked awesome commercial shoots as well as retail. I am in the Salt Lake City area providing great images to all of the clients that decide to come work with me. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Usually that is a base price, if the client starts asking for additional work it is expected for the price to go up. This is a fair trade no one should be taking advantage or feel like it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Again communication is key, we discuss your job or project and begin with scouting if it’s necessary or if the project requires any additional planning or design then we tackle that ASAP. The end result usually speaks to what has been talked about.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Bachelors in photography. And I have worked with a broad range from neighbors to multi million dollar companies.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

By accident, I had to take an elective course in college and decide to take on an easy A, with photography and it turned into a challenging course. I didn’t ace it but I fell in love with the process.

What types of customers have you worked with?

From local families, to big names with deep pockets. For example, University of Utah, ZAGG, Younique, SG group, Lifetime Magazine, TIMES, APA Magazine, just to name a few.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

To be honest the next job is the up and coming favorite. The challenges have been conquered for the most part on the previous jobs and the results usually speak for them selves.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Communication is key, make sure the photographer you are seeking speaks to you no just verbally, but his works is something you are seeking for it to be part of your wall or design.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Like I mentioned ask as many questions, if the boxes are checked then you have a team. Is not so much about the question is whether you are a match. Don’t focus to much on the price cause just like the client is focus on the price, there are photographers in it for a quick buck.
