You don't have to worry, we will take time to scope out our landscape, find the best scenery, and will have some great fun! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I am truly giving the client the best of the best! My session portrait sessions start at $300. Your photos will be sent to a beautiful online photo gallery where you will have access to purchase prints and download your high-resolution digital photos. I give a generous amount of edited photos in a beautiful online gallery. Galleries are approx. 50+ edited images to view and download. I also offer event photography. My services are listed under Events, all packages include a gallery to view, share and purchase digitals, prints as well as packages. **Images that I photograph may be used for future ads or marketing only for my business pages. I do not sell my images.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will answer and inform client on any questions. I will in detail, go through a typical session. We will book at date and agree on a location. Client will hold date with a 25% deposit with sent check or through Stripe Business. This reserves their time and mine as a commitment. I will send an email on questions that I have to customize the session. I will be in contact until we meet for the session and I am available at anytime with more questions or details needed by email or text. A photo contract will be sent to view and sign.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been personally doing photography for 10 years, professionally for 6 years. I am the Newborn Photographer at Sentara Hospital. I am constantly learning new techniques, taking photography classes and involved in many photographer forums and groups. I am a freelance photographer for TSS Sports photography. I am also constantly following, and continuing education in new techniques from other pro photographers. I carry 2 to 3 different camera lenses on me at each shoot, high quality photos!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My family, my own children and an all around love of what photos are and what they mean to me.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with Couples, Events, Graduates, Families, Weddings, Events, Pro Head Shots, Elopements, Micro Weddings, Event Website photos, Bridal Portrait, Engagements, Proposals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A newborn session... took approximately 1.5 hours to photograph. 1 hour to edit.)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone that cares for the work they produce, the reason why they do what they do... I tell a story in my pictures, the true feelings of the day. My advice is to find meaning in their own personal work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What type of result are they looking for? Photos to frame for a room? Photos for an album? Photos for a gift? Is it a themed photo shoot to personalize a special someone? Think about color and texture, what will you be wearing, who will be in the picture? An idea of how many images they absolutely need. This will create a session of purpose and would be very helpful.
