I'm Rob and I'm a published freelance photographer with a degree in Marketing/advertising photography from UW, I shoot professionally and I love my job. I’ve shot branding packages, Corporate Events, fashion, restaurant/bar openings, food, headshots, marketing campaigns, and everything in between. If you're looking for HEADSHOT photos I'll give a little rundown of how my studio works. I have a fully equipped standalone studio in pioneer square (not in my house or apartment) and I've attached pictures of my studio to my profile. I've shot for executives for major companies like Pepsi and Government officials such as congress and Secretary of Health. I don't charge by the hour and we shoot until you get a headshot photo you're happy with. For COMMERCIAL photography I've shot for major brands like Bushmills Tilamook, and Starbucks. Send me your mood board of what you're looking for and we'll work together to make sure your brands in on target with your market! For EVENT photography I'm one of the best around. I also shoot with two cameras and sometimes even a second shooter too so every moment is covered and you get the shots you're looking for. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is calculated out per year based upon my living standards there's no inflated pricing and it is dictated based upon the amount of work the photoshoot will be. A 8 hour Wedding with thousands of photos to edit will cost more than an 8 hour headshot session in a studio setting.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I get to know you! I ask what you want out of the photoshoot and we talk about the location, style, possible backdrops for studio sessions, lighting, and possibly even props! There's a lot that goes into even headshot photography so I love phone calls so we can discuss things and I take notes so to give you the best possible experience and photos! That way when we get to the shooting you're comfortable and so am I and we got to know eachother a little that helps so much in getting comfortable in front of the camera.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a degree in Business Marketing/Advertising where I've helped put together campaigns for businesses and personal clients and I’ve attended numerous workshops and mentorships.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I used to travel a lot for work and I took photos to document my travels. My work got noticed and people started hiring me for my photography. I got so many offers I had to make a decision and decided to make the jump to become a full-time photographer and I've loved it ever since!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've work with major corporations and media giants such as Hyatt and Vice media to family photos and baptisms.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I love working in fashion and I recently did a full campaign for a Project Runway Designer. I'm still working on it and it's been 2 months but I've loved every minute of it and the creativity involved!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Give me a phone call! I'm always available for questions and I’m always willing to work with a client to fit within a budget. I’m not here to gouge people but provide the world with some great photos which everyone deserves!
