Introduction

What made me fall in love with film? It had to be the amount of story and emotion involved. What I’m offering isn’t quality for the sake of quality, it’s an experience for your audience. Wether that’s a Music Video, Commercial, or Interview. Let’s create something that draws in the viewer. How can we tell your story? I’ve been shooting for about 3-4 years now. Feel free to ask me anything because I won’t hesitate to question you. I want to know how I can make this experience the greatest it can be. I solely operate a single camera but I own two in case of a double camera set up is needed. I provide a visual that captivates your intended audience with emotion. I have the patience to go through every detail, the resilience to push through to the end, and the knowledge to provide the best images possible. Don’t believe me? Here’s my website, go see for yourself. Ranging from music videos, narratives, commercials, and modeling portfolios. I pride myself in covering a wide amount of genres because a story can be unfold anywhere.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is dependent on the project itself and the clients demands/goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1. Consultation We meet or talk and go over the basics of what the client may want. Highlight any major key areas or interest. If client has the entire idea drawn up then we talk about the logistics. If client wishes that I come up with the layout that is also an option. 2. Story boarding/prep I draw up the entire visual scene by scene to determine how I want everything to flow. This lists consists of all locations, props, and angles. Once finished I put together a pdf because let’s be honest my drawings suck. That pdf shows visual references for what I’m seeing mentally. After getting all feedback necessary we then move on to reserving any locations, buying any props, and/or selecting models. -deposit due at this time- 3. Location scout/practice shoot Depending on the locations and client radius. I’ll go look at the spaces and take pictures to more accurately set up the shots I have in mind. Any effects or set ups I feel may be tricky I test first. That way nothing is a surprise and any adjustments can be made in advance. 4. Shooting We shoot everything that was discussed during the storyboard process. Client may choose to be present or not depending on their roles. -rest of payment due at final shot- 5. Editing/draft Then I go through the process of laying everything in post. During this time I’ll send a rough draft around the 70-100% marker. To get any final thoughts and changes made. Once that’s approved by the client they receive the final result.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’m a 100% self taught. I just possess the ability to do everything in my power to figure out what I don’t know.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started back when vine was a big deal. I bought an iPhone to make skits and next thing I knew I was analyzing movies. I’ve always been a story teller for as long as I can remember. In middle school I was constantly writing scripts.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Corporate office of a college campus, local business owners, local musicians/rappers, models, and etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Drowning(short) a very interesting take on a Siren. It took about 2 days to finish spread out into a week and a half. That delay was due to inclement weather.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice would be to work on the communication. You’re here because you recognize that visuals hold power. When explaining what direction you want to go in with your video. Look up some visual references to help sell the major key points of your request.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What mood or feeling do I want my audience to feel as they watch this? The most memorable projects are the ones that make whoever is viewing feel something. It’s extremely easy to build something amazing when you already know the “goal”. Which leads me to my next question. What does this project mean to me? You can’t make an audience feel an emotion that the creator doesn’t even feel.
