What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For most projects, I typically bill one of two ways, either per hour or budget-based. Understanding there is usually more than one way to achieve the desired results I am always willing to work with the client's budget as best as possible.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We typically have an initial conversation followed by a questionnaire that assures we get the proper details we need to come up with a fair budget and timeline based on clear objectives. Once we have had a proper discovery, in most cases we provide a simple proposal back to the client that outlines: the goals and purpose of the project, and the steps to achieve those goals (ex. build a website, write an article, provide online marketing tools, etc.), and the estimated cost and projected timeline.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been working as an executive marketing leader for over 15 years, and have knowledge of standard marketing practices, current trends, and practical experience creating effective tactics (websites, videos, articles, etc.) for various industry verticals. Over the years I have designed and deployed websites, mobile apps, and custom apps (*including AR/VR), produced videos, and business events for start-up and large-cap F500 companies.

I started by working as an commercial director in NYC for advertising.

As mentioned, we've worked with large well-known brands like Microsoft, T-Mobile, AstraZeneca, and the NHL as well as small/regional and VC-backed start-ups. We bring the same level of expertise to each customer. We've had the pleasure of working across many industry verticals (tech, telecom, pharmaceutical, skincare, sports, auto, and others).

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A new brand came to us wanting us to help develop their brand guidelines and apply them to their online presence (eCommerce, advertising, social media, email, etc.). Through ongoing conversation, many mood boards, and a little trial and error we developed an entirely unique look for the GUUD brand.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you're hiring a pro for something that involves a website, video, written content, or any other marketing material it is okay to ask to see their portfolio or examples of their work. And, when hiring --hire people with experience.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

On this platform be as specific as possible under the section 'WORKED NEEDED'. As a hiring pro, we pay a fee for each lead and it is challenging to understand the opportunity if there is little/no information. For a website, provide an estimate of how many pages you expect you may need, and what functionality. This is all helpful information for a pro to properly scope a project. Most of our initial discovery focuses on providing answers to your basic questions. This allows us to provide fair and proper pricing. We bring this same methodology to large established clients.
