We have over 15 years of experience managing multi-million dollar paid search (SEM) accounts (including one of the biggest accounts in the world) and have helped numerous small to medium size businesses here in Atlanta and throughout the country in a moonlighting capacity. We do everything from developing a thorough strategy, complete keyword research/competitive research, to setting up all aspects of the campaigns, and actively manage them on an ongoing basis (data analysis, bid optimizations, copy testing etc.). Our favorite thing about paid search is that it's the only "pull" type of advertising - where people are active hand raisers for whatever product/service you have. No need to push unwanted ads in their faces. That's why it works so well.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I normally charge a one-time set up fee and then a flat monthly management fee. I can also structure it hourly if you're just looking for keyword research or short term consulting.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

As a first step, I like to learn about the history of the business, their goals, how they acquire customers today, and local competition. From there, I can build a strategy/campaigns etc. depending on what's necessary.

I started out of college working at one of the largest SEM agencies in the country, Performics, owned by agency conglomerate Publicis Groupe.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone who specializes in search vs. someone who provides all digital media. SEM is entirely math based so that's the advice I always give.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
