Hi! I have been playing guitar for over 10 years and teaching music privately for two. I received my Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education from San Diego State University in 2022, emphasizing in Classical Guitar. I first started taking private lessons myself in elementary school, for piano and voice. Music has always been a part of my life and education, from taking choir to general music courses. I can teach beginner and intermediate levels for guitar, piano, ukulele, and bass. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student’s goals and style. However, I like to make sure each student learns all the fundamentals and receives a strong foundation that can be applied to any style or genre they want to learn.This can include rhythm exercises, scales, basic music theory, and more. For example I strongly emphasize the importance of rhythm and making sure students can play in time. I have experience playing and teaching classical, pop, rock, and folk.
