$60/hr $50/45min $40/30min. I give discounts for monthly packages.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First thing I do is take a quick assessment of where my students are at. I then start them with something fairly basic and see how they do. This dictates what pace I can work with my students on. From there I set up building blocks to provide a strong foundation for my student’s musical journey.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a BA in music from SFSU and 2 decades teaching experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started playing guitar when I was a freshman in high school. After a few years of dedicated practice, I was able to start taking on students. I then got a job teaching classes at the local rec center. I never stopped teaching since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I’ve worked with all ages from 5 years olds to 70 years old. I’ve worked with skill levels from beginner to intermediate players.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
