Introduction

I've been doing this longer and have a stronger work ethic than most of the people in my field. While some people just show up to teach, I prepare and adapt to each student constantly accessing whether or not I'm going to fast or slow. I also practice what I preach. Being a musician is a lot of hard work. I'm very dedicated to what I do and that makes me focus on my craft with 110% effort. The perks of that pay off when I see my students progress.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is based on my experience and ability to stay competitive.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I take lessons from a couple grammy nominated professionals. I would like to attend MI to learn to build a guitar during the summers. I also attend NAMM every year to see all the newest gear in the world of music.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started teaching as soon as I started playing. There wasn't a lot of thought put into it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I start most with exercises, work into requests, breakdown fundamentals, and leave customers with enough to focus on when they go home that they have enough to practice until next week without being overwhelmed.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recorded my students first song. It took a few weeks, but he did all the parts himself and it turned out really good.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be specific and have a goal in mind. If you know what you want, you're more likely to get it. I love requests and have a strong background in theory. I can help you get to where you want to be.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I like beginners. Beginners know absolutely nothing and I can shape and mold them right off the start. I like players with experience. Experienced players can move faster and accomplish more than beginners and usually already have a special interest. I like professionals. Professionals can dialog back and forth with an instructor without effort. That really makes my job interesting.
