Introduction

I am a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM), and I aim to provide high quality lessons without removing the fun of it. Because music should be FUN and I work with what I love! My goal is to provide my students with a love and appreciation of music that they can carry with them throughout their lives. The lessons I provide cover: note reading, aural and rhythmic skills, music history, composition, ensemble playing and solo performance. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I usually charge $80 for the hour of piano lessons or accompanying. Prices may vary according to the amount of driving I will do for teaching, or the amount of music to learn (at short notice) for accompanying. Please check my website ************************* for more information.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to have an interview with the customer either on the phone or in person to explain studio policies and also evaluate the level and experience with music of the student (in order to better plan my lessons).

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Doctorate Degree with a major in Piano Performance and a minor in Chamber Music. My doctoral dissertation was in music theory, and I also had training in Piano Pedagogy during both my Master and my Doctorate Degrees.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I decided to get in my line of work because of my passion for music and piano.

Accompanying/Chamber Music, Performing (chamber or solo recital), Teaching, and Event playing (wedding, funeral, party, lunch, dinner, etc).
