*I am very detailed oriented, patient and have highly honed skills and extensive experience, having taught for larger music companies and now my very own, "Good Vibrations School of Music". I teach theory as well as technique and highly personalize your experience based upon your interests, goals and skill level. *I am extremely professional and passionate about music and am highly disciplined with my own ongoing practice and education. I am progressive and creative and hold myself to a very high standard of music excellence and impart my knowledge and creativity with patience and diligence. *By the way, I am also available to teach lessons on the weekend, not only in the evenings but from 1 to 3 p.m.!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I continue to take paid online courses and paid video courses and also have purchased extensive at home use courses that are on dvd. I have a large and ever expanding collection of theory and other music books for work and challenge and enjoyment. I have used these since college. I spend many hours per day practicing.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

At a very young age my parents exposed me to many types of music and provided instruments and training, recognizing early on, as my instructors did, my potential and talent. I dedicated myself to serious lifelong practice as a priority and love teaching.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Teaching guitar and keyboards and also mixing, composing and producing music.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am very proud of all of my students and very excited to work with all of them. I have been invited for more advanced studies out of state at venues that are very difficult to access and also to tour with famous artists. I have a child at home and so have made a commitment to work locally only as to stay very near to him at all times.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I am kind, gentle, patient, highly skilled, versatile and have a very careful ear and eye to instruct and guide in technique and style, starting with where you are at. The sky is the limit.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

There is nothing like the healing, inspiring world of music and guitar is cooler than ever! There is diversity and room for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy expressing themselves through sound. Music study enhances all types of learning and memory, fine motor and improves social skills as it provides an avenue for camaraderie and a venue in which to showcase team playing, if desired. It is a vehicle of self expression and of cultural communication and is highly expressive, fun and satisfying.
