Teach beginners to professionals, all styles, from Gospel, R&B, Music Theater, Jazz, Pop, to Classical Art Song, and Opera. Teach in many languages, if that's your thing, have a very large music library here in studio. I can get you there! And prepare you for any special performance, audition, and goal. My name is David. I've been teaching guitar and piano for over twenty years now. I'm classically trained in both with years spent studying with Douglas Niedt, Karen Kushner, and Christopher Madden, at the University of Missouri, Kansas City Conservatory. I've also studied jazz guitar with Jay EuDaly, Danny Embrey, and Stanton Kessler. I specialize in dealing with students for whom previous approaches to their instruments have yielded little to no progress but I also teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced students of all ages and from all backgrounds. My approach is laid back but I stress excellence with everything I do. Students learn their instrument in the context of real music and real musical understanding, not exercises or rote repetition. I have two studio locations: my home studio in Raytown, MO fifteen minutes from anywhere in the KC metro area, and my away studio in Blue Springs off the I-70 Highway.

As graduate of Moscow Conservatoire and Manhattan School of Music in piano performance, Tatiana's piano studio is a jewel in the community. She has over 15 years' experience. Tatiana has traveled the globe playing in venues such as Moscow, Conservatoire's Great Hall and The Russian Piano School (Lake Como). She teaches the Russian piano method and is well versed in sight reading, music history and music theory. She brings a wealth of knowledge to both beginning students as well as seasoned professionals. Her education includes teaching from the most renowned pianist in recent times.
