Introduction

I am an accredited teacher of mix singing technique with IVTOM, International Voice Teachers of Mix. I teach any vocal style from classical to pop, but focus on r&b, pop, rock, indie, alternative, and soul. In addition to teaching mix vocal technique, I have years of experience and insight with songwriting and live performance being on season 23 of NBC The Voice and as an active musical artist I am able to help you become a better, more confident singer and performer. Since 2015, I've been helping singers find their own unique style and voice.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $65 per thirty minute lesson.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I use the first lesson to get acquainted with my student and their specific needs and goals in learning how to sing their very best.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been professionally trained in Speech Level Singing technique since 2008-present. I was taught the piano from age 7 in the Suzuki method. I've been teaching private voice lessons since 2015, and I've been performing around the world professionally with my group Foreign Figures since 2014. Currently I’ve finished my run on season 23 of NBC The Voice and made it into the top 24.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

While I was out performing and making a full time living through my music, I had a few people reach out asking if I could teach them how to sing. I accepted the offer, took instruction from my private vocal coach on how to teach singing, and started getting more and more students.

Male and female students from ages 8-60.
