Introduction

I teach piano and composition privately part-time, and work full-time in fundraising for a nonprofit. I hold a masters degree in piano performance from Webster University in St. Louis, as well as a Masters in Social Work from Boston College. I enjoy staying active outdoors by running, hiking, biking, etc. Regarding piano lessons, I focus on techniques like scales and follow progressive lesson plans. However, I work my lessons around student interests to make lessons enjoyable, and allow students to work on anything (pieces/songs) that they want to learn. I teach primarily in classical styles. I charge anywhere from $40-$60 per lesson depending on the duration/location. I would like to hear from you if you are interested in lessons. Thank you, Mike R.

I began composing a set of compositions called "Water Pieces for Piano" in 2013, and finished it in late 2018. I am now in the process of writing out the notes and performing this pieces in public. I have hopes that they can be published in the near future.
