I teach music first — scales and drills second — so that you’re playing songs within a few sessions. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We’ll start by talking about your existing knowledge of music, your musical tastes, and goals with the instrument. I might ask if you have a song in particular that you’d like to someday learn on the guitar (if not, I can help you choose). From there, I’ll create a personalized lesson plan that is tailored to your needs, using that song as our “north star”. Once we get there, and you master the song, the sky is the limit.
