Introduction

Structure of music: I teach the ability to play any song Reading one note and having the knowledge to add cords both hands to that note. Edit this class I took 13 years lessons from nuns 9 years jazz played professionally 9 years. I have four students who can very successfully play any song with One Note and cords because they now understand the structure of music. My references say I'm am patient and work at anyone's pace with solutions on how do advance in musc understanding and skills. The largest challenge is to their hands to obey them. $30 is a half hour however depending on the situation there's no extra to go 45 minutes or an hour if needed.

I am at $30 per half hour however depending on depth of lesson 45 to 120 Minets it still will not exceed $30. If two students at a time1 hour at $40 per hour

The first lesson will take up two 2 hours depending on the student need

13 years classical Fron the nuns in a convent And 9 years Jazz were I to was taught the structure of music

I am retired play concerts at nursing homes and a resident`s son asked if I gave lessons

First student was a prodigy new 35 songs on a list because he memorized all of them bridge over troubled water bottom leaves etc

The prodigy took lessons for two years and did a concert at a assisted living nursing home and a loved it

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you want to learn piano tradition based teachers will spend years on teaching you how to read music exactly as it is written. I will teach the students how the structure of music works and the students will understand how to improvise and only need to know how to read the single melody note and surround as each note with coordinated cords that support the note and it will sound better than the original music

What is their goal to learn how to play the piano by mechanically reading music or is it's to learn how to play the piano they should learn structure of music instead. So the question should be do you teach the structure of music so that I understand how music works and can read any music by single note and chords?
