Introduction

Hi - My piano lessons are truly goal-changing. I teach music as a language, giving the student specific exercises to place in the subconscious. These are serious lessons. I want you to succeed. Once you can "speak" music, music is effortless and fun (See Kenny Werner). All my regular students have free access to all my courses. My lessons are 45 minutes. I teach in an organized Step-by-Step approach. The goal is to create a spontaneous, creative and meaningful music language in the subconscious. It Works! Special: First lesson is $50 (reg $70). My main interest is teaching pianists to improvise music. That is the most fun and life-changing. I'm only interested in teaching students who are serious about achieving their musical goals. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$65 for a 45 minute lesson. Most lessons are weekly.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I teach 45 min. lessons. The lessons develop essential skills in the subconscious. This is like learning a new language. If you study consistently, you will be able to improvise on the piano. You will know the joy of music.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

MA in Classical Piano. I've authored three books on jazz improvisation and am the creator of the online piano course, JazzSkills for Piano. You will have a complimentary subscription to JSFP if you study regularly with me.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been performing jazz and classical piano for over 50 years. I'm passionate about music and want my students to experience that joy.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I teach all ages and all types. I'm happy to teach beginners. I usually start teaching children at 8 years. Many of my students are advanced jazz players, but I also enjoy teaching classical piano.

Find a teacher who is competent . . . and who inspires you! The teacher should be organized and should love teaching.
