Introduction

Hello! I am an opera singer/teacher located in Charlotte, NC. In my studio, my ultimate goal is to help my students build a solid vocal technique that liberates their authentic voice so that they can sing healthily and sustainably across all genres. Though I truly believe that the study of the voice is a lifelong process, most of my students begin seeing results in as little as a few weeks! As an opera singer myself, vocal technique is something I am extremely passionate about, and each lesson is tailor-made to suit the individual needs of my students. By aligning the body through the practices found in yoga and strengthening the organic production of the vocal mechanism, you will find yourself achieving heights you never dreamed of. My students currently range from beginners to young professionals looking to launch their solo music career. Together we will discover how to release bad habits and negative tensions in your voice. Whether you like to sing classical, musical theatre, rock or pop music, in my studio, you will be given the tools to do it all. In my lessons you can expect to receive a combination of the following: *Vocalizes catered to your individual needs *Basic fundamentals (breath energy and resonance) *Vocal register and range flexibility *Musicianship skills (pitch accuracy and melodic phrasing) *Music Theory *Singers diction (French, German, Italian, Spanish) *Audition coaching *Stage performance techniques *Character development Credentials: Bachelor of Music in Voice Masters of Music in Voice
