Introduction

I have been a pianist since 1974, celebrating 51 years! and teaching since 2005, it is who I am. I live for music! I feel it's important for me to pass the gift that was instilled in me by my first music instructor, Sonny Harris. You will not only learn classical but also learn the blues, jazz, latin, rock, and pop and even start to learn how to compose music and learn how to improvise. My studio is located in the Steele Creek area (South Charlotte) it is a modern, professional, and relaxed enviorment. You will learn how to read music correctly but you will also learn how to feel music and understand the workings of how everything fits together, this is where the magic happens for you will be able to start the process of composing, improvising and truly discovering yourself as a musician!
