Welcome! I'm Jessy, a professional pianist and educator in South Austin. I help students (age 6+) become well-rounded, independent, and thoughtful musicians - and provide performance and creative opportunities along the way. A teacher since 2019, I am a lifelong musician + learner and received my Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at Austin. I'm a member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Austin District Music Teachers Association.

Traveling Music Lessons will help you find the right teacher for your family - with lessons that occur in the comfort of your home! Our talented teachers travel to your home, and teach the lesson in your home. They all have music degrees, or equivalent work experience, and they have all passed a background check! *Please note, both male and female teachers may be available depending on location and the teacher's availability. Specific gender or age requests are not guaranteed. Lessons are taught in English.

Located in Austin, Texas, I teach in person in my Austin studio and remotely on the Internet or by phone. The technique that I use is proven successful. From classical to pop, the technique works. Most successful artists use this technique. I encourage all to research Speech Level Singing and those artists that use it. Also, for those that want the training, I was a high school choral teacher for many years. I have many years of experience teaching music reading as well as ear training. Helping those succeed! Successful singing is dependent on successfully understanding the voice and how it works. Watching those people learn and successfully engage their voice from the very lowest note to the very highest is very rewarding.
