Introduction

I have a vast education in piano performance, including schools in three major cultural centers (Warsaw, Paris, New York). I am currently working on my PhD in piano performance at the University of North Texas. I have taught to diverse populations, including Europe, North Africa, New York and Texas. I accommodate everyone's requests regarding their abilities, talent and commitment level and treat each student as an individual. I love interacting with people. I love watching their musical development under my guidance. I love helping people express the creative side of their personality.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Each student has unique needs. Duration and frequency of lessons, as well as cost, are tailored in a plan specific to each individual.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My philosophy is that every student learns through his or her unique method. I always try to balance a student's technical abilities with an equal emphasis on their sight reading skills. Scales and arpeggios are an important building block for students that I always emphasize.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am currently working on PhD in Piano Performance at The University of North Texas. I am taking Piano Pedagogy as my related field, which makes me uniquely suited to teach students in the art of performing piano. I received an artist diploma from the Juilliard School in New York City and hold a degree from the Frederic Chopin Institute of Music in Warsaw.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have played the piano since I was a young child. When I first moved to New York, I was looking for my path and I started giving private piano lessons and found it was a true passion. I haven't stopped since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with people from all walks of life. I enjoy teaching a wide range of students with diverse upbringings and needs. I think it is a specialty of mine that I can adapt to each student's individual requirements and needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I managed to prepare one of my students for nationwide competition in New York City. He won first prize.
