Introduction

šŸŒøšŸŽ¶ VERY Important note: ***If you’re located outside of the Atlanta, GA area, my lessons will be offered via remote (zoom/FaceTime) and NOT face to face in person. I am located in Peachtree City, GA and have been blessed with a beautiful vocal / guitar studio. For those that are unable to do an in person, no worries!! I’m proud to say that my Berkeley student started her virtual lessons with me while she was stationed in Hawaii and continued those virtual lessons via Zoom until she started Berkeley. You’ll get the same results with me either way you choose, remote or in person šŸ˜. I’ll take you on a journey vocally that you never realized you could be capable of! Following vocal training, I’ll move you into Performance training and/or beginner guitar if that’s your desires. Putting into action what you’ve learned is where the fun part begins!!!!! If you’re a beginner (never sang a note in your life, just in the shower šŸ¤—) or have even a little more experience, I teach everyone! Beginners to well Advanced! Every student I teach and have taught, have ALL landed their auditions and/or reached their goals! One student in fact is graduating Berkeley this year! Best, Kellye Huff

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
This is my favorite part....yes, my absolute favorite! I’ve charged for years $85 and hour for my vocal students. But what I’ve told them all is, the Lord gave me this gift. And for those students who aren’t able to afford that amount, I then ask them what they are comfortable with paying. Because at the end of the day, as your coach, I want YOU to fulfill your dreams! Ever since then, I’ve been blessed!! I have many students that are able to afford $85 because of the life long value they are receiving. I also have students that can’t pay that amount and can pay only $70 and hour, some even $65. My heart and love is for my students to be excited with EVERY lesson and SEE the results firsthand! That’s what makes me happy! ;)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I always get to know them first, their loves, what they like and don’t like about music etc. But the most important part of it all is, the first lesson, EVERY student walks away confident!!! I’m able to pull out of them vocally, things they never thought was possible.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I took music theory years ago in Mississippi at Woodlawn Music School. But it was the years of hands on training in the studio where I’ve worked with multiple artist singing background vocals like Elton John, David and the Giants, Judith Hill, just to name a few.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started singing as a little girl, but didn’t let anyone hear me until the age of 13 because I lacked confidence. It took years to learn the ropes of what works and does NOT work! I had the passion to start teaching and sharing the gift the Lord gave me years ago. So now, it’s doesn’t take anyone years, but some even just a day!!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Different ones from the ages 4 to 75. People who lacked extreme confidence and people who had never sang before anyone up until their lessons. I’ve also worked with people who’ve taken vocal lessons for years, but wanted to hire me to take them to the next level. I teach men, women, young adults and children :)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I’m in the process of writing songs for my upcoming project, as well as other artist wanting to record.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Anyone can have a degree or a title, but when you look at the experience and how the instructor has applied what they’ve learned, rather by teaching large amounts of people or by performing on stages, that’s where it matters ;)

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How big is your ā€œWant to?ā€ No matter if your Pro is located in your area, or if you have to do the lessons remotely, before you reach out to them, make sure to know where they’re located and if you’re also willing to do online lessons (which are still fun and INCREDIBLE with me I must add šŸ˜).
