Introduction

Hello! So lovely to cross paths with you today. I am a Vinyasa yoga instructor, meditation coach, and overall supporter of my fellow humans. I started practicing yoga 10 years ago and now have the privilege of sharing this meaningful work with individuals and groups. Learning yoga with me will invite you to explore unconditional love for your body. Body-positivity and loving acceptance are the throughline in every class. Everyone is welcome! My classes are taught to beginners and advanced yogis alike. If you’re in the LA area, get in touch! Ask about Yoga in the Yard (YITY) – a free, once-a-week yoga class offered in Burbank. I hold a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from House of Om in Bali, Indonesia. Classes are available in one-on-one training sessions, small groups, and larger gatherings.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
You'll be asked questions about your fitness goals and a personalized yoga plan will be built from there. Your first meeting will include a variety of poses and stretches to better assess what needs attention. Then, regular sessions will help you accomplish your strength and flexibility goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Certification from House of Om in Bali

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
After a lifetime of avoiding being active, yoga was my intro into getting fit at age 22. It met me where I was at, which was total newbie with no flexibility. With dedicated and regular practice, I started to develop a new relationship with my body, one where I felt capable and in-tune.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with beginners and more seasoned yogis.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find someone who listens to you and respects your journey. Our bodies change every day, so some poses may be easy one week and difficult the next. A skilled yoga teacher can be present with where you're at, on any given day, and help you listen to your own body's cues.
