Introduction

Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with over 200 hours of training and 2000 hours of teaching experience. Offering personalized private in-home yoga classes with a focus on making yoga approachable for more people. I am available for private in-home yoga sessions in Fullerton, Buena Park, Anaheim, Brea and surrounding areas. In private sessions you get to focus on the practices and poses that will benefit you the most right now. We can spend as much time as you want in a pose, we can take our time to find the best variation of each pose, we can skip the poses that do not work for you, and we can include some non-yoga exercises and light weights if you are interested. Private sessions can be less formal if you like - you can ask questions throughout the session, if you’re a parent your kids can be around, and if you NEED to be attached to your phone then I won’t stop you from keeping your phone next to you. Private yoga sessions make life simpler. We can choose a time that works for both of us. You don’t have to work with the yoga studio’s schedule, you don’t have to factor in time to drive to and from the studio, you don’t have to arrange childcare, and I promise you don’t have to clean your house before I get there. If you want something to use between our meetings I can give you something tangible like an audio recording or a written sequence. I charge $65 for an hour-long session. Since I would prefer that clients commit to 3 classes before deciding whether to continue, I do offer 3 classes for the price of 2 for new clients. Before our first class we can meet up, no charge, for a quick chat to make sure we are a good fit for each other.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
$65 per class

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
If you would like to meet before our first class I am happy to do that free of charge, we can meet at a coffee shop to have a quick chat before I actually come to your home for a class. The first class we will take care of some paperwork, I will get to know you a little better and I will take you through a basic sequence to see where you are at. Then I will develop a more personalized sequence for your second class and we can take it from there. If you are committed to practicing at home on your own I can help facilitate that by providing you some type of homework assignment. This could be an audio file or a written sequence or just a small suggestion of something you could incorporate into your routine.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
My current clients tend to be people who are intimidated by the idea of a group yoga class, especially at a yoga studio. I have a lot of experience working with people who are brand new to yoga. I have taught senior yoga classes and have even taught at an assisted living facility. I don't have any formal experience teaching kids yoga, but I do have a 6 year old son who does a little yoga with me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would choose a teacher that makes you feel comfortable and I would give them at least two or three classes before you decide if you want to continue working with them or not.
