Iโve been practicing yoga for over 20 years, and to say Iโm passionate about it would be an understatement. I was first introduced to yoga in high school during a dance class, and it continued to reappear in my life in meaningful ways. By college, I was practicing regularly, and it quickly became a grounding force for me. Yoga has been a constant source of strength, balance, community, and healingโand itโs my joy to share that with others.
In November 2024, I took a leap and earned my 200-hour teaching certification in beautiful Bali, Indonesia, guided and encouraged by a fellow yogi and close friend. My teaching approach is grounded, compassionate, and responsive to each studentโs unique needsโwhether youโre brand new to yoga or looking to deepen an existing practice. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where students can build strength, increase flexibility, and connect more deeply with themselvesโon and off the mat.
To make each session even more unique, every class includes a complimentary lavender or eucalyptus towel and cup of homemade chaiโa small way to continue the warmth and mindfulness beyond the mat.
Travel fee: To bring yoga directly to you, I charge a travel fee of $0.80 per mile, round trip from Palo Alto.
This helps cover my travel time, gas, and car expenses, so I can keep my session rates fair and sustainable. Thank you for understanding!

Tina espouses the core principle of โ99% Practice, 1% Theoryโ, and the key tenet that, โWhatever we learn, read and hear, we should put the time to practice and apply it to our lifeโ. In addition to her yoga studies, she is a professional IT worker, has a love of travel, and Indian classical music(Sitar and Harmonium), and has an impassioned zest for life.
After years of practice and experimenting with different styles such as Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Hatha, and Kirtan Meditation, she has a strong passion for sharing her acquired experience so that others might reap the benefits of yoga.
Yoga has been one of the greatest gifts in her life and she is passionate about introducing it into the lives of all she is fortunate to teach.
Tina teaches based on the notion that if you change your energy you change your mind. Her classes are a blend of a complementary ration of flexibility, strength, and balance while encouraging students to exercise their inner intuition and breath to guide the practice. Students can expect verbal cues, demonstration of poses, and occasional hands-on adjustment, mental health awareness suggestions. She strives to help students build strong bodies, find clarity of mind and experience inner peace.
