I was born in Costa Mesa, grew up in Laguna Hills, moved to East LA for high school and San Diego for college. Go Aztecs! My sessions are fully customizable and cater to the individuals in front of me because, let's face it.... What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Bundle and package discounts available. Inquire for more info. I offer military and teacher discounts. If traveling outside of the Temecula area, I do charge a nominal travel fee depending on mileage to the final destination. When booking Yoga Soirees, I require a non-refundable deposit that secures your requested date. That amount goes towards the balance of your event.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Before officially booking a session with me, we will have a short consultation over the phone to discuss goals and see if we are the right fit for each other. During this conversation we go through your background history to include any medications you are taking, injuries or pain you are experiencing and prior yoga experience. I send out a proposal via email and if you accept it, we can go on our way to booking sessions!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My primary focus is Alignment Vinyasa flow inspired by Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga. 500 Hours registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Adult & Children) Turbo Kick Boxing LIVE Certification Silver Sneakers Classic - BOOM Muscle - Chair Yoga Certification

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Mjoy yoga is a play on words. My wellness business started in 2019 with Silver Sneakers fitness. I taught seniors to love movement and to exercise their brain as well as their body. Prior to that I taught hybrid kick boxing and yoga stretch classes. Now entering the more yin stage of my life, I believe less is more and I want to teach others to ENjoy yoga because there are many different facets of the practice and I hope to help you find what resonates with you- hence Mjoy Yoga!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I started my career as a fitness instructor, so I have worked with a wide range of ages and abilities coming from a gym environment. I have taught high school Girl Scouts, groups of seniors, and mothers privately and provide customized sessions for my clients based on their needs and goals.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Get very specific with your expectations and be realistic with yourself. Yoga is a personalized journey that and is not the same for every person.
