What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to chat on the phone first to get clear on the clients goals and vision for their practice. I also like to take the opportunity to get to know them on a deeper level. This helps to understand them, how they work and what’s going to be best in constructing their class!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

200 hour Yoga Certification! Currently I. The process of getting a 500 hour certification.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve always been a dancer and yogi. When I moved to a new city I decided I wanted to deepen my practice and decided to take a 200 hour yoga training. I loved it so much that I immediately jumped into teaching and have been doing it ever since!

What types of customers have you worked with?

One of the private clients I teach currently was in a motorcycle accident and has a prosthetic shoulder. This means there has been a lot of learning on both of our parts and we get to be creative when making the postures work for him. He’s come so far and has incredible patience and work ethnic.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently completed a 4 week virtual yoga challenge where all proceeds were donated to Lymphoma Research Foundation!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone you connect with! Choosing a private yoga instructor is like choosing a therapist, you want someone you feel comfortable and can be vulnerable with. Set up a phone call to get to know the persons before you confirm.
